Propulsion Controls Engineering is a California corporation formed almost 25 years ago. Today, PCE is operated by the same consistent ownership and management group. We employ a staff of approximately 100 with locations in Everett, Washington, Honolulu, Hawaii and our primary facility in San Diego, California. PCE offers a full spectrum of ship repair capabilities with expertise in power plant machinery operation, maintenance and repair. PCE was founded on the concept that our most important product would be complete engineering plant operational performance that would meet or exceed the customer's specifications. In the past 25 years PCE has completed thousands of separate jobs and has accomplished major system overhauls on virtually every class of ship currently operating in the Navy. This work has been completed in numerous ports throughout the world as a prime contractor or subcontractor for a Master Ship Repair (MSR) or Naval Shipyard. PCE is small, tightly run and efficient, gaining worldwide recognition as a knowledgeable and reliable company of experts who do high quality work. In 1985 PCE won the United States Small Business Administration's Award for Excellence, inscribed "In recognition of outstanding contribution and services to the nation by a small business in satisfying the needs of the Federal Procurement System".
